About us

When Mark wanted to retire in 2005, we embarked on a new adventure.... pizza!  We learned from the school or hard knocks, purchasing a local franchise, and learning the ins and outs of the pizza business.  From necessity, to a love for the business, we strive to make The Great American Pizza Company YOUR pizzeria.   
At GAPCO, you don't have to travel far to get a taste of over 20 delicious city-inspired pizza creations. Each specialty pizza has been inspired by the city after which it is named. The Bismarck, our spaghetti & meatball pizza, gets its name from the fact that over 75% of the world's wheat is grown in that city. We offer our award winning CHICAGO (NEO's BEST Chicago Deep Dish 2015, 2016 & 2017); our DENVER high, mountain pie; our classic square DETROIT with a thick caramelized crust; and so many more to choose.
We started the company in 2010 and have grown every year since, winning numerous local pizza awards. We are looking toward the future, and are looking to franchise with YOU!
